Examples of Past Studies Conducted

Engineer Manpower Revision

Completed work to develop an Army Wide manpower requirements document for HQs IMCOM for Service 400, Common Level of Support (CLS) – Facilities Engineering.  Output was approved by the U.S. Army manpower Analysis Agency (USAMAA) Director, and is currently under review by the U.S. Army Chief of staff, G3.  Pending approval requirements will be loaded during the next scheduled POM cycle to update all IMCOM Engineer Table of Distribution and Allowances.

Business Process Reviews

Completed a redesign study for the Chief, Army Reserve developing As-Is to future models of current business practices at all levels to include process mapping and descriptions.

Reimbursables Policy Impacts

Provided the US Army Reserve Command an ISSA & MOA tracking process for use with the Army Reimbursable Policy, interservice support agreements, and Army Regulation 5-9 policy on geographic area support responsibilities.

Force Generation Issues

Completed a study for Forces Command (FORSCOM) to evaluate deployment airfields that support the Army with Global Mobility Task Force (GMTF) forces and equipment.

Memorandums of Agreement (MOA)

Provided the framework and input for a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) between a deploying force and Air Mobility Command that outlines TALCE (Tanker Airlift Control Element) assets, Mobile Handling Equipment, Air Ground Equipment, Aerial Port, Command and Control (C2), and personnel tasked to augment a particular location in the event of a deployment.

Facility Requirements

Completed a study for Forces Command (FORSCOM) to identify training throughput of soldiers not permanently assigned to installations across the Army. Determined the amount of facility support required then developed a concept for these facilities to include the footprint that these facilities would encompass, in coordination with Construction Engineering Research Lab (CERL).  Estimated cost and the construction standard. Identified limiting factors and provided recommendations to institute this program into the Army Program Objective Memorandum (POM), the Department of Defense FYDP, and costing system. Assisted in developing and defending POM requirements to integrate this program.
